Ordunte is a native Android app for hyperlocal weather in the Karrantza / Ordunte valley (Carranza, Bizkaia). Motto: El tiempo del valle. What it shows • In Carranza: Weather, Field, Hunting and Beekeeping. • Away from the valley: current, hourly and weekly forecasts, air quality when data is available, and rain radar for the current location. • Measured AEMET warnings for the valley, with their own channel so they are not repeated. • The hunting section is informational only. It is not a hunting permit and it does not replace any official licence. • Home-screen widget and periodic sync, both exclusively for Carranza. • Optional beach camera (La Salvé) resolved from a public stream page. Location and privacy • Only ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION is requested to centre the forecast and radar. The app does not request precise or background location, does not track continuously, and does not integrate Google location services. • It accepts a last known location no more than 10 minutes old or performs a point-in-time update, without continuous tracking, under an original 12-second deadline. If the activity resumes before it expires, the listener may be registered again only for the remaining time; the deadline is not reset. • An approximate 15 km geofence around Carranza selects the content: four sections inside and Weather only outside. Without permission or a position, the app uses Carranza and keeps all four sections. • Coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo for forecasts and air quality. When the radar is opened, the visible area is converted to tiles for RainViewer and OpenStreetMap. • Coordinates are not stored in Room. The visitor snapshot exists only in process memory and disappears when the process closes. Room, periodic sync and the widget remain restricted to Carranza so visitor data cannot be labelled as valley data. • The current version uses an approximate geofence and does not look up a locality name.
