MeteoCompare is a multi-model weather app designed to make forecast uncertainty visible instead of hiding it behind a single prediction. 19 WEATHER MODELS Compare raw output from reference models: AROME and ARPEGE (Météo-France), ICON and ICON-D2 (DWD), GFS and HRRR (NOAA), ECMWF IFS and AIFS, UKMO, GEM, MET Nordic, KNMI and DMI HARMONIE, MeteoSwiss ICON-CH2, ACCESS and GRAPES. 4 V3 FORECAST ENGINES Choose in Settings how the central forecast is calculated: - Multi-consensus: robust synthesis balanced by numerical model lineage. - Calibration: progressively adjusts selected daily values using available local history. - Scenarios: favors coherent forecast clusters instead of one simple average. - Adaptive: conservatively selects the most relevant strategy for the context. A dedicated Engine Comparison page runs all four methods on exactly the same raw forecast, with charts, a divergence timeline and a daily comparison table. CONVERGENCE AND LOCAL RELIABILITY MeteoCompare keeps two concepts separate: - current convergence, computed only from raw model output; - local historical reliability, based on past D+1 forecasts compared with an Open-Meteo historical reference. Related models share voting mass so enabling several variants from the same numerical lineage cannot artificially increase confidence. SEA / COAST For coastal cities, enable Sea / coast from the Home card. A blue dot shows when it is active. City Details then includes waves, swell, sea temperature and estimated tides.
